Salary: basic salary of up to £32,000

Electronics Technician

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assembly / Soldering / Electronics Technician to join a successful medical engineering and manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Aylesbury.

The Electronics Technician will work a 37-hour week and will report directly into the Production Manager. You will be ensuring all of the company products are built correctly, with the use of engineering drawings and instructions, in a timely, and quality-focused manner.

You will be required to do electronic assembly and soldering with occasional test, fault finding and repairs on their products. The products are a mix of electronics and small rotating mechanisms - experienced in both of these areas would be very helpful.

In terms of requirements for this electronics technician role, they are looking for keen and attentive individuals who are looking to accelerate their learning and skill set. You will need to have good timekeeping skills, a good communicator and of course have a strong electronics engineering and technical background.

The business are open to hearing from individuals who are very experienced, but also love to hear from applicants who have limited experience but a passion for technology, perhaps with some level of technical education.

Electronics Technician Requirements

* Experience working in a manufacturing / production environment

* Technical engineering knowledge or experience

* A formal technical education

* Strong soldering ability and experience

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Able to keep clear, accurate and traceable records for all products dealt with
