Job Details:

  • Obtaining quotes via email/website and phone, Some negotiating and purchasing of various raw materials.
  • Follow-up on sent purchase orders and track progress of all back orders.
  • Creating/typing and updating purchase orders to suppliers, confirming the dock dates.
  • Data entry in MRP system with accuracy in part number entry includes numbers/letters/decimal.
  • Some administrative functions
  • Strong multitasking ability, excellent organizational skills, time management skills and should be able to switch tasks on short/sudden notice
  • Clear speaking voice/good presence on the phone, communication skills (converse with suppliers and with internal customers)
  • Detail oriented, clearly able to relay information to others, team player
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and be eligible to work in the US.
  • This is a contract to hire position that has potential to go long term.
