Peel Technical recruitment are working alongside a leading platform and goods lift company to help grow their service engineering team. Our client specialise in the supply, installation, and maintenance of high-quality cabin platform lifts, goods lifts, and bespoke accessibility solutions.
Role Overview
They are seeking an experienced and motivated Platform Lift Service & Repair Engineer to join their growing service team. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing their installed range of cabin, platform and goods lifts.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the continued safe operation and reliability of their equipment, providing excellent support and service to our valued customers.
Full product-specific training will be provided to ensure you are fully confident and skilled in maintaining the wide range of lifting solutions we supply and install.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct scheduled servicing and maintenance of platform lifts, cabin lifts, and goods lifts
* Diagnose and carry out repairs on a variety of lift equipment
* Complete service reports, maintenance records, and repair documentation accurately
* Respond to non-emergency call-outs promptly and professionally
* Work closely with the service team to plan and prioritise daily tasks
* Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and company procedures
* Assist with minor installation tasks or modifications when required
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in servicing and repairing lift products
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is highly desirable
* Valid UK driving license (essential)
* Strong customer service ethos and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently with a high level of organisation and professionalism
* Flexibility to travel across the South East of England as required
