About the Company

We are a well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-quality building services solutions across the South East. Our projects include commercial new builds, refurbishments, fit-outs and high-end residential developments. With a strong and growing order book, we are looking to strengthen our pre-construction team with an experienced Electrical Estimator.

The Role

We are seeking a detail-driven Electrical Estimator to join our team based in Dunmow. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of commercial and high-end residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed electrical estimates from drawings, specifications and tender documents

* Carry out take-offs and produce accurate cost breakdowns

* Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations

* Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required

* Identify value engineering opportunities

* Work closely with project managers and directors during handover

* Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

* Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and within deadlines

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E contractor

* Strong understanding of commercial, refurbishment, fit-out and high-end residential projects

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Proficient in estimating software and Excel

* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

* Excellent communication and organisational skills
