Salary: £60000 - £65000/annum

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead and manage a children's residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people. You will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the home in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities

Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the home.

*

Lead, supervise, and develop a team of residential care staff.

*

Ensure the home operates in compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.

*

Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of young people.

*

Promote positive outcomes in education, health, and emotional wellbeing.

*

Manage budgets and resources effectively.

*

Maintain accurate records and produce reports as required.

*

Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals.

*

Ensure staff receive appropriate training, supervision, and performance management.

Requirements

*

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete within required timeframe).

*

Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory/management role within a children's residential setting.

*

Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards.

*

Proven leadership and staff management skills.

*

Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

*

Full UK driving licence preferred.
