We are currently seeking a dynamic Maths Teacher to join a school in South Cumbria starting in February. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative Maths lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
• Utilise strong subject knowledge to enhance student learning and meet curriculum standards.
• Maintain effective classroom management skills to create a conducive learning environment.
• Demonstrate reliability and commitment to the educational development of students.
• Serve as a good role model for students, embodying compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to share best practices and improve teaching methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Recent relevant experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, with attributes of trustworthiness, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
