Are you a hands-on Development Engineer looking to make a real impact in the cleantech sector? Our client, a rapidly growing technology company based in Cambridge, is seeking a skilled engineer to lead development operations for their innovative decarbonisation technology.

What You'll Do:

* Lead operation and experimentation on cutting-edge development systems

* Drive prototyping and troubleshooting initiatives for next-generation technology

* Collaborate with engineering teams on system component specifications

* Contribute to HAZID and HAZOP processes

* Optimize equipment utilization across multiple development projects

* Maintain detailed records and data capture for analytics

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in process or development engineering

* Practical knowledge of gas process systems and mechanical equipment

* Familiarity with vacuum systems, compressors, pumps, and automated valves

* Basic understanding of PLC/HMI systems (training provided)

* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

* Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills

Ideal Background:

* Degree in engineering OR equivalent industry experience

* Experience with HVAC, building services, or similar process systems

* Involvement in technology development or process improvement projects
