We are recruiting for a Buyer Planner on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Nottingham.
The job: Buyer Planner
Duration: Temp to Perm
Salary: Up to £14 per hour (Equivalent to £27,300 per annum)
Location: Nottingham
Shift: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:30am - 3:45pm (37.5 hours per week)

WHAT WILL YOU DO DAY TO DAY?
• Analyse and review raw material and finished goods stock levels
• Co-ordinate supply of materials within defined inventory levels
• Liaise with Customer Service, Manufacturing, and other departments regarding supply or stock issues
• Work with Purchasing on supplier development and inventory management
• Manage consignment stock agreements with suppliers
• Resolve material control issues and discrepancies
• Make independent decisions relating to materials control within set limits
• Raise production orders as required
• Provide costing, reporting, and statistical information as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• Knowledge in materials buying or planning
• Strong experience using Microsoft packages such as excel
• Strong organisational and communication skills
