Polytec are looking for a Manufacturing Technician for our client based a few miles north of Cambridge.

Responsibilities:

* Assemble devices, test, configure, pack all products/units effectively to specified quality standards, HSE and ESD conditions
* Conduct testing of products returned due to failure in the field in accordance with documented procedures
* Support in the investigation and implementation of production related corrective and preventative actions
* Ensure works orders are started and completed in line with production schedule and in accordance with relevant procedures ensuring 'right first time' approach is maintained
* Prioritise and promote health and safety in the workplace

Requirements:

* Good manual dexterity skills and affinity for detailed manual work
* Electromechanical assembly/PCB soldering, assembly and testing experience
* Experience working within a medical device regulated environment would be helpful
* IT literate, familiar with Microsoft Office
* Familiar with modern manufacturing systems
