What You Will Be Doing:
The Head of Research is a key role in the business. You will be an integral part of a specialist team working across a range of consumer clients.
You work in collaboratively with clients using our bespoke technology and platform to ensure insight magic is always delivered. You thrive in the role of coach and inspire less-experienced team members to think holistically about client problems, using innovative methods to gather, distil and inspire. You focus on upskilling your team and ensure they adopt new tools and methodologies to stay ahead. You will have client revenue targets to achieve and will be actively involved in new business pitches.
Experience in qualitative research approaches is a must, as is at least an interest in utilising blended approaches to projects (e.g. qual, quant, mobile, video).
We are looking for proactive, positive strategic leaders who have a determination to drive research excellence and deliver exciting client solutions. We are open to a variety of backgrounds and need someone who can deliver across a broad spectrum of projects.
+ Act as a consultant with clients, providing them with clear advice to help them with business challenges
+ Champion our platform across all of client accounts and demonstrate the value that it can deliver to brands
+ Identify and build new business opportunities with new and existing clients. Can represent the business in client meetings to discuss new business opportunities
+ Line manage a team and help the Chief Customer Officer ensure the team acquire the skills needed to deliver our strategy through coaching, training and on the job learning
+ Initiate new ways of working, technologies and methodologies across client accounts and in particular the use of agile and iterative approaches to discovering insight magic
+ Be actively involved in pitches and presentations, can deliver the story in a clear and inspiring way
+ Oversee the team's output, coaching the team to ensure quality and that our thinking and tools are used
+ Actively network and stay up to date with developments in our industry and beyond, identifying and actioning new ways of doing things

+ Experienced with various kinds of research methods but specialises in qualitative techniques including ethnography, digital qual. Commercially-focused and able to sell broad, innovative products and solutions
+ Future-focused and digitally savvy, knowledgeable about how to investigate multiple data sources to find answers
+ Strong project and stakeholder management skills. Able to lead and prioritise to deliver outstanding quality on time and coach team members to do so
+ Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills
+ Highly motivated and driven, with a hunger to win and grow our business
