The Opportunity

FT Recruitment are working with a growing and well-established business within the steel distribution sector, looking to bring in a Logistics Coordinator to support their supply chain operations.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll be coordinating shipments, handling customs documentation, and ensuring goods move efficiently across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of steel pipes and tubes

Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery

*

Prepare and manage customs documentation for imports and exports

*

Maintain accurate shipment and logistics records

*

Support internal teams with scheduling and shipment tracking

*

Identify and support improvements in logistics and documentation processes

What We're Looking For

*

Previous experience in a logistics / supply chain coordination role

*

Strong working knowledge of customs processes and documentation

*

Experience preparing import/export paperwork

*

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

*

Confident communicator able to deal with multiple stakeholders

Working Hours & Benefits

Monday to Friday

*

8:00am - 5:00pm (flexible start between 7:00am - 8:30am)

*

Option to work condensed hours (4 longer days + early finish Friday)
