7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver – Permanent Position

We are seeking a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join a well-established, growing distribution team based in High Wycombe. You will be delivering high-quality, bespoke aluminium bi-folding doors, windows and sliders to Trade Partners across the UK and Ireland.

This is a key role within the business, ensuring all customers receive their deliveries on time, safely and with excellent service.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants must have an in-date CPC and Digital Tacho Card. Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply, as you will receive a driver assessment at the start, full support if needed, and ongoing driver assessments twice a year.

About the Multi-Drop Work

• London deliveries: 10–15 drops, only 1 day per week (rotation to keep it fair for the team)
• Outside London: typically, 3 drops per day due to longer travel distances
• Vehicles are pre-loaded
• Deliveries are to Trade Partners, meaning you will have assistance with unloading at the delivery point

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes (frails and tail-lifts fitted) in a professional and courteous manner
• Deliver products safely, efficiently and politely, updating customers on arrival times
• Carry out UK-wide routes based on daily delivery schedules
• Assist customers with loading/unloading of goods
• Complete all deliveries in full, ensure load checks each morning, and maintain a clean vehicle
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks, reporting any defects or issues
• Follow DVLA rules, domestic/EU driving regulations and company safety standards
• Use handheld technology to scan all items at the delivery location
• Take part in training sessions and regular driver assessments
• Be willing to undertake overnight stays when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience driving 7.5T vehicles (newly qualified welcome)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Digital Tacho Card & in-date CPC (essential)
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable, organised, flexible and able to stay calm under pressure
• Willingness to assist beyond core duties when needed
• Comfortable with UK-wide travel
