Key Responsibilities
Showroom Operations
- Open and close the showroom daily, ensuring it's impeccably prepared: perfect lighting, inviting music, pristine cleanliness, refreshing hospitality, and fully operational POS systems.
- Maintain the showroom's impeccable appearance, ensuring product displays are accurate, updated, and perfectly aligned with current inventory and promotions.
- Manage inventory turnover using NetSuite, coordinating seamlessly with Operations and Warehouse for product transfers and replenishments.
- Monitor and reorder consumables to consistently provide exceptional customer hospitality (e.g., tea, coffee).
Customer Experience & Sales
- Greet and assist customers, delivering compelling product demonstrations and expertly guiding them through their sales journey.
- Proactively follow up on customer inquiries, draft orders, and abandoned carts via Shopify and internal systems.
- Create and manage orders, meticulously track deposits, and coordinate delivery timelines using third-party portals (Furdeco, Stream, MaxOptra).
- Manage all sample requests, ensuring swatch orders are processed and posted correctly and promptly.
- Handle post-delivery customer concerns with empathy and efficiency, liaising with appropriate teams for swift resolution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail or showroom management, ideally within a high-value or luxury furniture environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build strong rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Demonstrated sales acumen and a track record of successfully closing deals and exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Shopify, and third-party logistics portals (e.g., Furdeco, Stream, MaxOptra) is a distinct advantage.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working weekends and holidays as needed.
