Primary Teaching Assistant - BL6

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL6). This is a full-time, term-time role supporting pupils across the classroom, including those with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
* Provide targeted support to pupils who require additional help.
* Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in lessons.
* Assist with small group activities and classroom organisation.
* Support pupils during transitions and break times.

Ideal Candidate
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree educated).
* Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A patient and supportive approach to working with pupils.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
