Permanent Teacher of Physics (A-Level Focus) - Outstanding Barking School (Physics Department)

An outstanding school in Barking is seeking a talented and ambitious Permanent Teacher of Physics with a strong specialization in A-Level Physics and the potential to contribute to leadership within our Sixth Form Physics provision in the Physics Department. This role will be primarily focused on delivering exceptional and inspiring A-Level Physics teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging, challenging, and inspiring Physics lessons exclusively to A-Level students, fostering a deep and enduring passion for the physical sciences.

* Demonstrate a deep and current understanding of the A-Level Physics specification and assessment, with a proven ability to maximize student progress and attainment.

* Track and meticulously analyze student performance in A-Level Physics, implementing innovative strategies for continuous improvement and outstanding results.

* Collaborate proactively with colleagues on the development, refinement, and strategic direction of the A-Level Physics curriculum and resources, incorporating the latest advancements in the field.

* Mentor and support students in their advanced studies and university applications for Physics, Engineering, and related STEM disciplines.

* Potential to take on curriculum leadership responsibilities within KS5 Physics in the Physics Department in the future.
