Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure Projects
Location: Birmingham

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a large infrastructure project in Birmingham. My client is at the forefront of infrastructure development and has a reputation for driving innovation and excellence throughout their projects.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a large-scale and high profile infrastructure project. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the commercial and contractual aspects of a package of work valued from £10m to £40m, ensuring cost control, and maximizing profitability. Utilizing your expertise with the NEC3 suite of contracts, you will provide strategic guidance and support to our project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all commercial aspects of infrastructure projects.
Implement robust cost control measures and monitor project budgets.
Negotiate and manage contracts using the NEC3 suite.
Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Resolve contractual disputes and claims effectively.
Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team.Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in large infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge and experience with the NEC3 suite of contracts.
Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant field.Benefits
