Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Dudley

Salary & Shifts:
£35,000 per annum (includes shift allowance)
Rotating shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm - Plenty of overtime available
Join a leading steel processing company at the heart of the Black Country, supporting production through proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance.

Role Overview:
Work as part of a 2-person team (1 Electrician, 1 Mechanical Engineer)
Carry out preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
Complete shift reports and maintain safety standards
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Read engineering drawings
General welding, fabrication, and bench fitting
Oxygen/acetylene burning
Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and overhead cranesRequirements:
Completed apprenticeship or time-served in mechanical maintenance
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance
Experience in a heavy industrial environment
