What We're Looking For
You don't need formal care experience - what matters is a big heart, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting others. You'll be confident organising activities, flexible when plans change, and able to include everyone in ways that suit their personality and preferences. Previous experience in activity planning or working with groups is a bonus, but your ability to connect with people is what counts most.

You are organised, approachable, and able to spark conversation, laughter, or calm as needed. You thrive in a supportive team environment and are motivated by helping residents feel engaged, valued, and part of a community.
Location
Guthrie House Care Home is located in Edinburgh's Liberton area and provides nursing care for up to 88 residents.
