Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Salary: £450 - £500 per week

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teaching Assistant to join a school in Flintshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups with SEND.

* Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

* Support pupils with personal care and emotional regulation, where necessary.

* Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents.

* Contribute to the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities.

About You

* Experience working with children with SEND, preferably in a school setting.

* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable.
