The Role - Maintenance Engineer
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced environment with strong investment in engineering and technology.
Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer
* Electrical fault finding on production and plant equipment
* Working with Siemens PLCs - fault finding and basic modifications
* Maintenance and repair of control panels, circuits, drives, and inverters
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
* Working with motors, sensors, relays, and automation systems
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For - Maintenance Engineer
* Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* Strong PLC experience (Siemens preferred)
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
* Proven fault-finding ability
* Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
