Teaching Assistant

• Annual Salary: £14.63/£16.35 per hour
• Location: PR3 area
• Job Type: Full-time
• Time: 08:00 - 15:30
• Start: Summer Term continuing through to the next academic year.

Join our team at a wonderful primary school in the PR3 area as a Teaching Assistant, where you will be working in our fantastic Pre-School. This role is ideal for someone with a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and who is looking for ongoing professional development opportunities.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the delivery of daily lessons and educational activities tailored to the needs of EYFS pupils.
• Support the classroom teacher in preparing materials and setting up activities.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Work closely with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material.
• Participate in and supervise students during school activities and outings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience in a teaching assistant role or similar educational position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• TA2 qualification or other relevant certification
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to professional growth and development
• Paediatric First Aid
