Role: Principle Mechanical Design Engineer  

Type: Full Time, permanent

Hours: Mon-Fri: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

Location: Bristol  

Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? If so, then this opportunity cannot be missed! I am seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading Engineering company.

Principle Mechanical Design Engineer - Key responsibilities:

Deliver accurate mechanical designs, analysis and to tight tolerances and in line with the BS 8888 standard
Maintain effective communication and collaboration across the mechanical design and project management teams
Take responsibility to ensure all designs meet the specific requirements and project objectives.
Support, mentor and develop junior engineers when required 

Principle Mechanical Design Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD package
Proven track record in Mechanical design engineering
Ability to perform FEA/stress analysis and work out calculations by hand
Strong background in the Aerospace and Defense sector or similar
