Location: DN4, DoncasterStart Date:1st June 2026Pay:£95 per dayContract:Temp to Perm

We are recruiting a committed and nurturing Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a KS1 setting within a highly inclusive and community-focused primary school in the DN4 area. This role begins on 01/06/26 and offers a strong temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate.

About the Role

In this role, you will support children who require additional help with learning and behaviour. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working 1:1 with a KS1 pupil or with a small group outside of the main classroom
• Delivering targeted interventions and personalised support
• Using RWI Phonics to deliver effective early reading support
• Promoting independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Experience delivering RWI Phonics
• Experience supporting SEN learners
• A calm, supportive and proactive approach
• Strong relationship-building skills
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
