Ashton Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Stock Controller for our client specialising in component distribution. Our client will require the successful candidate to be able to travel between their warehouses based in East Belfast and Nutts Corner, using the company vehicle. The successful applicant must have a valid UK License. After 12 weeks probationary period based on perfomance, time keeping and attendance you will be offered a permanent position.

Position: Stock Controller

Location: East Belfast and Nutts Corner

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Starting Salary: £27,500 to £30,000

Working Hours: 40 hours per week- Monday to Saturday with the earliest start at 6am to latest finish 10pm.

5x 8 hour shifts set out in their rota

Benefits: - 36 days pro rata per annum including statutory days; Easter 4.5 days, July 4.5 days, Christmas/New year 5.5 days

Duties:

• Receive and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders for quantity and quality
• Identify and report any discrepancies with deliveries to suppliers
• Monitor stock levels across all products
• Preform regular stock checks to verify accuracy of computerised reports
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
• Raise and complete stock orders
• Deliver stock to customers from time to time
• Maintain and clean a safe working environment

Essential Criteria:

• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and confidentiality
• Good Level of Computer literacy with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Previous experience in stock management
• Be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in written.
• Basis Access NI check to be completed

Desirable Criteria:

• 7.5 Tonne driving licence, valid CPC and digital Tachograph
• Stores Stock Management
