Analysis Engineering - Structural Dynamics (Remote working, Outside IR35)

Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Structural Dynamics Analysis Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team on a 6 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. This role offers remote working with negotiable hourly rate, outside IR35.

The Role

As a Structural Dynamics Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Perform vibration analysis of aircraft structures to identify areas for design enhancements and structural improvements.
Determining the dynamic evaluation methods to support certification activities at both component and aircraft levels.
Validate Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models using test data, with a particular focus on Global Finite Element Model (GFEM).
Assess and validate the structural integrity and dynamic characteristics of aircraft and aircraft components using test data to ensure compliance with industry standards.

In addition, you will also actively take part in Ground Vibration Testing (GVT) activities from test plans preparation, definition of instrumentation to results evaluation.

You

To succeed within the role of a Structural Dynamics Analysis Engineer, you will have the following skills:

5+ years of experience in structural dynamics analysis of aircraft structures.
Extensive working experience with commercial FE tools including Hypermesh, Optistruct, Nastran.
Proficiency in modal analysis, frequency response analysis, and random vibration analysis
Knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD-810, DO-160 and other applicable ISO standards.

In addition, you should also be proficient in scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, Bash Scripting.
