Who we are

A highly successful, financially secure, niche consultancy that has grown consistently and successfully over the past 19 years. Turnover of over half a million pounds with a healthy six figure profit year on year. In the past two years, we have added over 40 new clients per year. Due to our continued growth, we need another HR advisor to meet the needs of our clients.

Our clients are mainly small organisations with fewer than 50 employees. We work with over 230 of them on retained contracts as their outsourced HR department, advising at managing director level, and giving them commercial employment law advice to solve their ER issues.

Our Offer

* £35 - £45,000 annual salary, pro rata, depending on experience and knowledge

* Direct client contact with business owner and senior manager level from day one.

* Occasional travel to clients is possible, but 99% of our advice is done remotely by email, phone and Zoom.

* Training will be given in areas where you have less experience please still apply even if you dont feel you are an employment law expert yet!

About the Role

We're recruiting for an HR Advisor with experience and/or interest in Employment Law / Employee Relations to join our small and happy team, advising and supporting our clients in all aspects of UK employment law. This role doesn't include any recruitment services for our clients.

We're looking for someone who's a natural problem solver, with experience finding creative solutions to challenges and issues. We particularly welcome applications from the hotel and hospitality industries. This role would also be ideal for a strong HR/ER administrator looking to take their next step as an Advisor.

You will need to have strong attention to detail and experience in accurately recording data across multiple systems, for example a Case Management System or similar.
No need for expertise in employment law training will be given and Continuous Professional Development is strongly supported (financially and during working hours).

About You

* Some knowledge of employment law / employee relations

* Able to grasp new information quickly and provide excellent customer service

* Comfortable on the phone and competent in MS Office (especially Word and Outlook), as well as using the internet

* Strong attention to detail use of a case management system is a plus

* No CIPD qualification necessary

We are a growing HR Consultancy based in Goring on Thames with a small friendly team. Our modern office is in the middle of the village, close to cafes, food delis and shops. Weve got free parking, but were also only a five-minute wander from the train station.
