Job Description:

Local Education are working with a highly regarded secondary school in the Chelmsford area to appoint a qualified Design & Technology Teacher for a September 2025 start.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-resourced and supportive department where creativity and innovation in teaching are encouraged. The successful candidate will deliver DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to take on wider responsibilities depending on experience.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge and classroom experience in Design & Technology

Ability to engage students through practical, hands-on learning

Confidence managing mixed-ability classes and delivering lessons that support all learners
