Along with the Director of Food& Beverage & Culinary Operations and Senior Sous Chef you will beresponsible for the efficient running of the department in line withHyatt International''''s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilstmeeting associate, guest and owner expectations.
The Chef de Partie is jointlyresponsible for the operation of the Kitchen, ensuring that all the outlets andevents operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel, andthat they are individually profitable. Your main responsibilities will beto ensure that all chefs within the Kitchen areworking productively. Along with your roles as anoperational Chef, ensuring the brand standards are maintained, you willalso assist with the day to day administration of the department, dealing withany associate issues and queries, and to deputise in the Sous Chef''''sabsence. You will ensure that all Chef''''s are actively engaged in theirroles and will assist to maintain motivation in the department.
You will work on a shift rota basis, on a 48hour a week contract. Due to the nature of the business, particularlyduring busy periods, you will be expected to work overtime when required.
With previous experience as a Chefde Partie looking for a new challenge or a strong Demi Chef de Partie in ahotel or large restaurant with good standards; preferably with experience inluxury international brands. Qualifications in Kitchen Production (e.g. NVQ inFood Preparation or equivalent) will be required. Comprehensive knowledgeof kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards willbe essential. Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance Systemis preferred.
