Salary: £77 - £87/day

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant in Portslade to work with a child in Year 1. The child has Autism and SEMH therefore experience working in a school with children with these needs is preferential. The role will require some general Teaching Assistant duties as well as 1-1. The school are looking for someone who can commit on a long term basis.

Hours: Monday - Friday 

Pay: £12 per hour

Start Date: January 2023

The Applicant:

Will have relevant SEN experience within an education setting or within care work
Knowledge and experience of primary curriculum
Be well versed in behaviour management strategies.

Be nurturing and caring.
Must be flexible to work with other staff.
Will have excellent communication skills (non-verbal skills desired but not essential).
Responsibilities:

Working 1-1 helping to reach appropriate, related targets.
Assisting within the classroom behaviour where needed.
Communicating effectively with parents and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
