Accounts Assistant – Manufacturing Sector

Location: Outskirts of Kendal

Salary:£32k

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and reputable manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Kendal. Key Responsibilities:

• Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Preparing and making supplier payments
• Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
• Assisting with reconciliations where required
• Providing ad hoc support to the wider finance team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger role
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
