This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to a college's student support program, working closely with students requiring specialized academic assistance.

Position description / Job description

Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to students' needs.
Guide students in effective time management and study techniques.
Assess student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.
Collaborate with college staff to create a cohesive support system.
Utilize online teaching technologies to enhance learning experiences.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.
Attend regular meetings and professional development sessions.
Contribute to the overall improvement of the study skills support program.

Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

Postgraduate qualification.
Relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
Proven experience supporting autistic students (minimum 1 year).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to student success.
Completion of the National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules (or willingness to complete them).
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in utilizing online teaching platforms and technologies.
