We’re supporting a growing organisation looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to join during an exciting period of change, including the rollout of a new group-wide ERP system

We’re working with a growing organisation undergoing an exciting transformation, including the rollout of a new ERP system across the group. As part of this project, the current Management Accountant will be fully focused on the implementation – creating a fantastic opportunity for someone to step in and play a key role supporting the finance function during a critical growth phase. You’ll take ownership of management accounts across multiple divisions, working closely with senior stakeholders and helping drive meaningful financial insight across the business.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that would suit a part-qualified accountant or strong QBE who enjoys variety and being close to the numbers. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts across multiple divisions
• Supporting group consolidation and financial reporting
• Producing analysis and insight to support business decision making
• Maintaining trial balances and financial reporting systems
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations with strong attention to detail
• Supporting budgets, forecasts and year-end processes
• Business partnering with department heads and senior managers
• Supporting finance process improvements and ERP implementation
• Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects and payroll support when required

The successful candidate is likely to be a Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or strong QBE. You will have experience preparing management accounts, strong Excel and analytical skills and the ability to operate in a busy, multi-entity environment. You will be a confident communicator who can work closely with non-finance stakeholders.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract with potential to extend. You will find a friendly and supportive culture, offering hybrid working after the initial training period. You will also gain exposure to a major ERP transformation project and a broad, varied role with real responsibility.
