We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served machinist with experience on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines and a strong background in Heidenhain programming.

The Role:
You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Dugard and Bridgeport CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components for various sectors. This is a day shift role offering a stable and well-organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines using Heidenhain controls

*

Work from technical drawings to machine parts to exacting tolerances

*

Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet required standards

*

Optimise machining processes and ensure efficient workflow

*

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in CNC milling and Heidenhain programming

*

Familiarity with Dugard and Bridgeport machines preferred

*

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

*

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

*

Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
