Extrusion Setter/Operator

Hours: Monday - Thursday 21:00-06:00

36 hours per week - 30 minutes paid break

The Role:

The primary role is setting, running, and monitoring the PVC Extrusion Line for bespoke products. The role will be varied and a 'hands on' approach needed. The successful candidate will implement production programmes with agreed quality and speed parameters. Understanding dimensional checks and working to close tolerances is essential, recording quality results and visual inspection will be part of the day-to-day role, altering machine parameters if necessary, with occasional die cleaning and tool changes.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role with 3 to 5 years processing experience, and knowledge of fault rectification within PVC Extrusion. Applicants must be hard working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and work well under pressure.
