Salary: £162 - £227/day

We are working with a combined primary school in Aylesbury who require a full time Year 2 class teacher, starting September 2025.
This role is to cover a maternity leave therefore the school are open to long term supply or a one year fixed term contract. The role comes with full teaching responsblities including planning, preperation, marking, staff meetings etc. The candidate will be paid to scale for the additional responsibilities.
This is a warm and welcoming primary school with a low staff turnover as well as a hands on and dedicated Senior Leadership Team. The year 2 class do require some consistency, therefore the successful candidate will require to be confident, experienced with good behaviour management techniques.
The school has great commuter links from Buckingham, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Stoke Mandeville and Thame areas. .
The requirements -
To be a successful Year 2 teacher you will need to;
* Be a Qualified Teacher holding QTS with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education. NQTs/ECTs also welcome to apply
* Have the ability and experience of working within Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2 with SATS experience
* Be adaptable to all working surroundings
* Inspire and have a passion to educate
* Behaviour management skills
* Strong classroom presence
* Be committed and reliable
* All candidates will be subject to a full registration interview including safe guarding questions, reference and DBS checks (following KCSIE 2024)
