Expleo is looking to hire a Reliability Engineering - Senior Engineer to work with our customer based in Gaydon on a contract basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge automotive projects within a world-class engineering environment.

This role sits within the Durability & Robustness attribute team, part of a wider Driven Attribute Integration organisation. As a Programme Leader, you will ensure all customer expectations for Durability & Robustness are met through appropriate target setting, design development, and completion of whole vehicle verification activities using both virtual and physical test methods.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

* Support delivery of all Attribute Requirement targets by Gateway

* Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved

* Detailed strategy & delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, Road Load Data, Vehicle and System rig tests & driven vehicle DV activities

* Work with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level targets

* Work with component engineers and suppliers as required to drive resolution of engineering issues

* Deliver technical recommendations and test and issue status reports

* Ensure all lessons learnt from the current vehicle are captured and fed back to the Programme Attribute Team and progressed as necessary

Required Skills

* Knowledge/experience of engineering test activities

* Knowledge/experience of automotive technologies or systems

* Project Management experience

Education & Qualifications

Required:

* Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies

* Understanding of Durability & Strength principles

* Project management of complex engineering test activities

* Experience of problem solving including application of Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DoE etc.

* Understanding of Systems engineering principles and delivery

* Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Desirable:

* Knowledge/Experience of AGILE working principles

* Working knowledge of CAD visualisation systems (e.g. 3Dx, TeamCentre etc.)

* Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross-functional experience

* Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
