School Business Manager - SEN Setting - Luton
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (DOE)
Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm (Full-time, 1-hour lunch)

We're recruiting an experienced School Business Manager to join a well-established SEN school in Luton. This is a full-time, permanent position, forming a key part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

The Role

You will play a central role in the financial, operational and strategic leadership of the school—ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to long-term development and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee school finances, budgeting and reporting

*

Lead on HR, operations and site management

*

Work collaboratively as part of the SLT

*

Support strategic planning and whole-school improvement

*

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements

Essential Experience

*

Experience as a School Business Manager (preferably within an SEN setting)

*

Confident using Arbor

*

Experience with IRIS Financials (formerly PSF)

*

Strong organisational and leadership skills

*

Ability to work proactively within a fast-paced school environment

Desirable

*

PRINCE or Team Teach training
