The company is a well-known player in the vertical they operate in. With a variety of products within their portfolio, the brand has built a reputation on convenience and ease of use.

With a turnover of £30m, their brand has carved out a synonymous position with the product culture and is the go to within the market.

They are looking to hire a new Head of Finance position.

Description

The Head of Finance will report in to the CFO and be responsible for:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

• Develop financial strategies that align with the organisation's long-term international growth objectives. Treasury management - conducting analysis of foreign currency trader rates and recommending tailored hedging solutions.
• Conduct market research and analyse global financial trends to provide strategic recommendations to the

CFOAccounting & Financial Reporting:

• Oversight and support with the preparation of accurate and timely monthly/quarterly accounts and tax filings together annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or UK GAAP).
• Manage the year-end process and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors across various jurisdictions.
• Ensure all financial and statutory reporting requirements are met for all international entities.

Budgeting & Financial Management:

• Develop and control the company's annual operating budget and ongoing forecasting processes.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure appropriate treasury controls are in place, managing payment runs across multiple countries and currencies.
• Implement cost reduction strategies and provide commercial analysis (e.g., margin, pricing analysis) to support decision-making.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including exchange rate fluctuations and compliance with diverse international tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement internal audit programmes, policies, and procedures to ensure robust financial management and control within the company.
• Prevent and manage fraud and corruption by setting up preventive and monitoring mechanisms.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, including managing finance managers
• Reporting to CFO to drive commercial performance and achieve objectives.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders .

Profile

The successful Head of Finance will ideally be:

• A fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role in another international business (Multi-currency)
• Demonstrable controls and leadership skills
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• ERP systems exposure
• Transformation experience

Job Offer

The Head of Finance position comes with a competitive base salary of £80,000-£85,000, 10-20% performance related bonus and package.

This is an office base role with some flexibility.
