The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and fast-growing provider within the waste management sector, is seeking a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager. This is a 100% new business role focused on securing high-value contracts across commercial and industrial clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and delivering tailored waste management solutions aligned with client needs and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business across the commercial and industrial waste sectors.

Engage with senior stakeholders to identify requirements and provide consultative solutions.

Close complex, high-value B2B sales with confidence and professionalism.

Manage your own territory and pipeline, operating independently across a wide region.

Represent the brand with a solutions-focused, consultative approach.

Requirements

Proven success in field sales or business development — must be within waste management.

Strong track record of securing high-value, complex B2B deals.

Excellent negotiation, closing, and client engagement skills.

*

Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven.

Full UK driving licence.

*

Based anywhere from Birmingham down South, with flexibility to travel.
