We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to join our local client's team based in Halesowen, West Midlands. This long-standing company are looking for a CAD Designer to work in their office and factory.

The roles and responsibilities of a CAD Designer:

Create and modify technical drawings using CAD software
Assist in the design of custom press brake tools
Collaborate with the MD and production team to ensure feasibility and manufacturability
Operate Press Brake machines and Wire Eroders for testing and prototyping
Maintain drawing standards and documentation for all designs
Contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows and tools

Requirements of the CAD Designer:

Technical Drawing and Drawing skills
Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and solid works proficiency is essential
Design Engineering knowledge
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
