Randstad has an opportunity available for a cleaning technician to join the team at Belfast Metropolitan College. The ideal candidate will provide a range of services across the Springvale Campus to ensure a safe and clean environment by delivering cleaning, portering and minor maintenance services to high standards.

• GCSE Maths and English, Grade C and above or equivalent
• Ability to carry out minor building maintenance tasks, such as changing light fittings, adjusting locks and decoration repairs
• Proficient in using electronic databases for asset tracking and helpdesk reporting
• Available for an immediate start pending checks
• Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)

• Deliver cleaning services to a high standard
• Support cleaning and care-taking staff
• Manage waste disposal and recycling
• Perform routine opening and closing duties
• Manage the receipt of goods and mail, perform room set-ups and handle internal furniture removals
• Complete minor building maintenance tasks
• Ensure external grounds are tidy and free of litter, applying grit or salt during winter weather
• Maintain accurate daily records for assets, utility meter readings and health & safety logs
