Pertemps is recruiting experienced 7.5t (C1) day drivers to support operations at the Swindon Mail Centre for Royal Mail.

☀️ The Day Role

You'll be completing planned trunk runs between Royal Mail depots, transporting mail and parcels between distribution centres.

This is primarily driving work, operating clean, well-maintained vehicles from organised depots. Occasional movement of mail cages may be required, but the focus is on safe, efficient driving.

📦 What You'll Be Doing

Driving a 7.5t vehicle between Royal Mail depots
Completing planned trunk routes safely and efficiently
Following driver hours and WTD regulations
Completing manual tachograph entries when required
Maintaining a professional standard of driving and site conduct
✅ What You'll Need

Valid 7.5t (C1) licence held for at least 2 years
180+ days proven commercial driving experience
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card essential
Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, CD, TT endorsements)
Good knowledge of driver hours and WTD rules
Ability to complete manual tachograph entries
Able to pass a DBS security check
Successful site assessment and induction
