We are currently recruiting for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded school in the Preston area, offering specialist support across both primary and secondary phases.The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with a range of general learning difficulties, including autism, speech and language needs, and cognitive delay. As part of a dedicated team, you'll help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop key life skills.

Your new role

• Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
• Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Support pupils in developing communication, social and academic skills
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
• A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping pupils reach their potential
