Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative biology lessons across different educational levels: GCSE, BTEC, and A Level.
• Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress in biology through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
• Stay updated with the latest educational trends and integrate new teaching methods into daily practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a degree in Biology or a closely related field.
• Previous teaching experience in the UK is essential.
• A teaching qualification is highly desirable, although not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of the biology curriculum across GCSE, BTEC, and A Level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of varying ages and abilities.
