 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering creative, personalised lessons that inspire and support children with SEN.
  • Using specialist strategies and resources that help each child learn in the way that suits them best.
  • Adapting your teaching to meet diverse learning needs and helping students grow in confidence.
  • Working closely with a warm, collaborative team of teachers, parents, and external specialists.
  • Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where children feel valued and empowered.
  • Keeping clear, meaningful records to track and celebrate each pupil’s progress.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and how to adapt it effectively.
  • A kind, patient, and imaginative approach to teaching.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships.
  • A genuine passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
