Bradley David Associates is recruiting for an experienced Shipping Coordinator on behalf of a growing logistics and freight forwarding organisation based in Basildon.

Responsibilities:

• Manage shipments under company-issued House Bills of Lading (HBLs)
• Verify Master Bills of Lading (MBLs) against shipment documentation
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, co-loaders, and consolidation partner
• Coordinate or submit UK import declarations via CDS
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready digital job files

Requirements:

• Experience working with imports or exports
• Sea freight experience
• Experience handling LCL
• Working knowledge of UK import customs procedures via CDS
• Familiarity with international Incoterms and import documentation
• Knowledge of port community systems such as Destin8 or CNS (desirable)
