We're working with a well-established body shop based in Southampton, and they're currently on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Prepper to join their growing team. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work and preparing vehicles to an exceptional standard, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing vehicles for paintwork, including sanding, masking, and priming

*

Ensuring surfaces are properly cleaned, filled, and ready for spraying

*

Identifying and addressing imperfections before painting

*

Working to agreed deadlines while maintaining a high standard of finish

*

Following all health and safety procedures in the workshop

*

Supporting the paint team to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper or similar role in a body shop

*

Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and materials

*

Keen attention to detail and a focus on quality

*

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

*

Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential

Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
