Well respected company is looking for a skilled 3rd Line Windows Escalation Support and Project Delivery Engineer to join their team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. With excellent Windows Server (2016/
2019) support skills you will be responsible for Project Delivery and escalated support.

Tasks to include

Provide higher third level support across Microsoft and 3rd party system for issues that come from the 1st and 2nd line teams.
Ensure that incidents are resolved in a timely manner to meet defined service level targets.
Ownership of Incidents, Service Requests and Projects from beginning to conclusion.
Hands-on Project Management and Project Delivery.

The following skills and experience are required -

Server and Workstation Hardware
Windows client support and troubleshooting of Windows 7/8/10 as well as Office Suite.
Support and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019
Understanding and providing both support and troubleshooting for server roles such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange/Office 365, NTFS Permissions, GPO Deployment
Knowledge and Experience in Azure and AWS
Virtualisation knowledge of both VMware ESXi and Hyper-V
Networking knowledge covering LAN/vLAN/WAN Technologies as well as Switching and Wireless Access Points with Enterprise RADIUS authentication.
Understanding Firewall and Remote Access technologies
Understanding of Backup and Restore technologies, preferably Veeam Backup and Replication
Support and troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL
