HGV Technician

- £40,000 - £48,000 per year

We are recruiting experienced HGV Technicians for a busy workshop in Alloa. There are two separate roles available:

* Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm, 4 on / 3 off (Monday-Thursday & Wednesday-Saturday rotation)

* Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am, 4 on / 4 off

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied fleet in a modern workshop, with excellent pay, benefits, and long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers

* Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical issues

* Completing routine inspections and ensuring DVSA compliance

* Working efficiently to minimise fleet downtime

* Maintaining high health & safety standards

Skills & Experience:

* NVQ Level 3 in HGV Repairs

* Proven experience working on HGVs and trailers

* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

* C+E Licence advantageous but not essential

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Relevant automotive/mechanical qualifications
