Early Years Teacher – Reception

Are you a fun, nurturing Early Years professional with excellent people skills? Do you have experience working with Reception-aged children and are ready to take your expertise to the next level?

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Teacher to join a high-performing and supportive team. Our school is committed to providing every pupil with an outstanding education, and we believe that the early years are crucial in shaping a child’s future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a caring, stimulating, and engaging environment that enables all pupils to thrive
  • Plan and deliver lessons and activities tailored to the needs and abilities of Reception-aged children
  • Set clear expectations and boundaries to support positive behaviour and learning
  • Work closely with the EYFS Lead to enhance the provision and outcomes for all children
  • Build strong relationships with families to support the transition into school and ongoing development
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s values and ethos
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience leading a Reception classroom and supporting early transitions
  • A passion for early childhood education and a creative approach to teaching
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • A collaborative, proactive, and reflective practitioner
